Resume of Diskusi Umum “Pusat Logistik Berikat”

Pusat Logistik Berikat (Bonded Logistic Zone) “PLB is TPB for stockpiling goods imported from outside the customs area and/or goods from other places within the Customs Area (TLDDP) and outside the Customs Area (LDP), it can be accompanied with 1 (one) or more simple activities within a specified period of time for re-export”

The main purpose of the PLB is to reduce logistic cost and to increase the industry competitiveness. For PT Agility it self they have 2 PLB, which are in Jakarta (Pondok Ungu ) and Bandung. There are 3 goods ownership in PLB, owned by PLB, owned by Supplier and owned by owner of goods in LDP/TLDDP. The flow of PLB start when the goods are delivered from the origin, then it comes to the PLB then to the customer factory. There are several activities done in PLB, including customs clearance and value added. PLB requiring the industry who want to join them with several requirements, such as IT inventory (including WMS), E-Seals that completed with QR code, and CCTV monitoring (security). Another Advantage of using PLB is it’s paperless, no cash, security end to end, on line reporting, Inventory Management System, Warehouse Management System, Common handling and storage charge. The PLB Warehouse Facility should be consist Integrated speaker system, fire fight  equipments, oill spill kits, training room, pest control system, clinic/resting place, Emergency Response Team, CCTV or Video Survailance, and Security Control.

Logistic is Logic, Discipline, Unique. And in Logistic we know the word of Kaizen, which means about an improvement/innovation.

Resume of “Indonesia Transportation, Supply Chain, and Logistic”

   The 2016 ITSCL Expo was held In JIEXPO From October 19th to 21st. The Expo provide booth for the Transportation and Logistic company who want to introduce their company to the visitors. The 2016’s ITSCL focusing on the issue of PLB/ Bonded Logistic Zone. Most of the company who attend the Expo are the part of PLB. Not only Exhibition, the 2016 ITSCL also held a seminar which bring the Latest Topic of The Bonded Logistic Zone. The seminar attend by the Officer  of the Coordination Minister of Economic of Republic of Indonesia, World Bank Delegation for Indonesia, Cutoms Officer, CEO of Indonesia EXIM Bank, Director of Dry Port Cikarang, and moderator by the Chief of ALI. From the seminar we know that Government already set some of Economic Policy to solve economic problem in Indonesia through the optimizing of the Logistic Activity. And another Information that we got from the seminar is Indonesia’s position are in the top 5 of the Shortest Dwelling Time Country in The World.
